Well I am not really a renter, as you see, I am Joe Builder who actually built the 72 apartment units back in 1986.
Another thing, as I have not been back to the Rosamond Village Apartments since I finished construction and had the Grand Opening in August of 1986, I do not know what the conditions are like today however, I could speak of them from when we opened in August 1986.
I found a number of old photos of the construction and Grand Opening in August of 1986! I notice how nice and clean the grounds and building look. What a beautiful job on the streets and sidewalks. That is why I can give it a 5 Star rating in ALL areas, but again this is based on my recollection of the Rosamond Village Apartments from 1986 - 22 years ago!
I see the twigs that we planted - well they said that they would grow up to be trees! Did they' How about the pool area, is it enjoyable' You see the pool was actually an after thought meaning, after the buildings had been designed and laid out, it was then decided to squeeze the pool into a small courtyard area (sorry about that as I knew it was going to be problematic for the residents for a long time).
I also have a couple of news paper articles from that era of Mid-80's. At the time I was living in Lancaster and well....... that is another story as I went on to build thousand's of units and homes until, well do remember the down turn of 1990-91' Ouch!
Anyway enough of me reminiscing about the 'old days'. Hope you liked the walk back into history!
