Are electric cars really not a workable solution?

Posted by Jim Stringer in lifestyle

I'm curious......

Electric cars - Couldn't we install solar panels on our car roofs, and attach generators to all four wheels continuesly capturing energy. Install mini wind machines to continuesly charge batteries?  It seems that having all of these technolgies generating electricity all the time would hopefully be enough to continuesly charge the batteries on electric cars.  Once your up and running it would have power input coming from several power sources potentially keeping the car going endlessly.

Where the Pavement ends and the dirt begins

Where the pavement ends and the dirt begins

How many times have you traveled down the paved lanes of the highway and pass by all of the dirt roads leading off to who knows where? Always in a hurry to get to here or there and really never seeing what you're missing. People living in the city just don't know what they're missing. They live in the asphalt jungle of pavement, pushed up against their neighbor and locking them in from what may lurk on the outside.
