When asked why he decided to make the move, he replied “My wife and I lived in a condo in Encino; she wanted a place with dirt under it; (a place) where she could grow a veggie garden” He looked to the Antelope Valley because of friends the couple had that were already living in the area. “They told me about (the Antelope Valley) and said it was a growing area”.
